Does anyone use wireless headphones?

I bought a used Sentry H0900 wireless transmitter and headphones, cost $1.00 plus shipping on ebay. The are RF Radio Frequency. The headphones are comfortable and I really like the freedom of no wire, BUT the signal is attenuated. It may be a good system for listening to your stereo or TV but is not a good system for metal detecting.
If anyone has a wireless system that works well I'd sure like to hear about it.

I haven't used any. I was reading somewhere (that I can not find the link at the moment) about using BlueTooth adapter and headset. Feedback on that set up was that the delay made it difficult to use. Beep heard well after the target was passed. Had to work really slow and mentally retrace the delay to locate the target position.

Thanks - unless someone else has other input this may not be worth the effort

set up for my White's MXT. I also tried with the Tejon. I was not happy with the audio. As someone else noted on here about the delay, I didn't notice any delay issues with the bluetooth set up. What I did notice was the the audio quality was not as crisp as it is with regular headphones. The audio sounded "crackly" and had a strange quality to it that didn't sit well with my ears. So, I'm back with the regular wired headphones. I have to say, if someone could invent a bluetooth system that gave a better audio sound, it would be worth it. I did like the fact the freedom of not being "attached" to my detector. But as I said, the audio quality was just not where I liked it. Hope that helps.

I purchased a reconditioned bluetooth headset from Kelleyco's eBay arm, Aardvark for use on my Cortes. I had to purchase a volume control from Radio Shack to place between the Cortes and the transmitter to attenuate the signal some. The set up works great so far.

Without the volume control in-line the signal is just too high for the transmitter and it ruins the sound.

Good Hunting!
