If so what are you listening for? I used 99 tones for a bit and the music sounded pretty cool. But found myself using 3 tones in the end.
How many tones do you use?

I use the 99 tones (actually 2:geek: almost exclusively. Over time you get to know each tone and what it means. At first I did it for something different, but I really like it now. High tones are the money.

Quattro is Italian for the number four(4), the number of tones I use on the X70 . I recently made a post giving Richard @ Backwoods Detectors a little ribbing because he used a Minelab Quattro. So a play on words, a little more ribbing.

There is a guy who goes by the name of Ken on the......... shall I say it "Quattro" forum ..........................just a sec I just need to wash my mouth out :lmfao: and he does pretty well with it. Actually he posts alot of photo's showing off his silver trophies, so it cant be all that bad. I just dont get the name though, come to think of it who thinks up some of these names for detectors I must admit some of them are pretty lame. I might start a new post about this hehehehehe.
Cheers!

I use 3 tones. I tried 99 for a short while. It was a bit much for me. I do like to hear the high tones, Beale.
