Does Anyone Use The 5.75 Coil On The Tejon For Relic Hunting?

I've read alot of posts on the 5.75 for "Coinshooting" but how about relic hunting? Will it punch as deep as the 8x9? I've found bullets and buttons with the stock coil at 8-10 inches with the stock coil. MO
 
Earlier this year I received permission to hunt a private property that has a lot of history but is about 3 hours from where I live. I made a mistake by not packing the 5.75.

I did well a little away from the house but up near the house there was so much discarded metal in the ground, in many places, that I had trouble figuring out much with the Tejon running the standard 9 x 8.

So, short of digging and screening everything near the house, which I am sure would have meant my last trip there ever, I just talked to myself about not packing the 5.75. The Compadre that I took along did much better near the house, but I know it isn't as deep as the Tejon. Next chance I get to make the trip I will pack the 5.75 and possibly a couple of other detectors to help see what's what.
