Does anyone search the inside of old abandoned houses

If you can get permission to enter some of these old houses they are great places to hunt when the weather is bad. There are some great finds to be had. Just be very careful and don't hunt them alone, for safety reasons.

I have.and to be "HONEST"..only found a bunch of Spiders. Not saying you would not find anything. You might..but it isn't in every house like some want you to believe.Detector was really erratic too.Near impossible to detect.
Visual hunt is about the only way you can hunt due to nails and metal items.Like you say Safety issues are to be considered.

It's not like Trash & Treasure TV show where she finds great things at every type hunt She goes on..Hmmmmmmm whats up with that ?? LOL..I wonder ?????.

dirt floors in the basement area (if there is one). That is where mom hung the laundry and kids played, during the winter months. Who knows? Maybe you'll find an old Prince Albert can full of coins hiding just under the surface. For many, banks weren't the most trusted places to hold a small stash. HH Randy

The places I get the chance to hunt out in the desert look mighty inviting but I pass because of the Huntavirus thing.

I have hunted a few and have been quite sucessful. With a small coil you can search the dirt floors, stone foundations, over the tops of beams, just to name a few places. Don't foget the main and upper floors including the attic, if there is one. When searching in these old houses be sure they are safe to enter, it is a whole new type of treasure hunting.

:minelab:Elton,
You just ruined my day, I thought Kirstin really found all that stuff right off the bat.
I just wish she would answer all of my emails, I know she wants me. LOL
