Does anyone like to make "new" look "old"..?

I have never tried this particular stunt before... Taking a nice photo, and trying to make it appear like an old one, or an old postcard.. This particular photo is of the lighthouse in Algoma, Wisconsin.

Anyone spend time doing this? Have some examples to share?
