where I can get a map of where general sheman camped in ky during the civil war? I just learned he set up camp close to where I live but I do not know where.

Best place to start would be the Official Records, or O.R.'s. I have them on CD-ROM but you can get them individually in book form. However, each book will run you $40-$50 dollars and there are 128 volumes. The companion map book corresponds with the ORs. There are several CDs that contain maps. If you have any questions just email or PM me.
