Hi Ronnie:
I know you mean well, and thanks for the offer, but if you want to do the right thing, buy Paint Shop Pro for $69 or Photoshop LE for $99. You will get more horse power from either of these two programs than you will ever need. Really.
The expensive Adobe Photoshop is for Professional Graphics Designers that work mostly in the print media. It's not necissary for most web applications, including posting on this forum, and much to complex for average folks that just want to tweak their images a little. Believe me, if your image is in such bad shape that you can't fix it in either of these two programs, then the Adobe Photoshop Pro version ain't gonna help you either.
If you already own the LE version, hey, you're all set. You can adjust your Image Size, Levels, tweak Saturation or Contrast a little if it needs it, and use the Unsharp Mask to make it razor sharp. And you've got Layers, which is the meat and potatoes of the Pro version, IMHO. And finally, you can post your images using a variety of jpeg settings. It's a terrific program.
I urge you to do the right thing and pay for your software. You'll feel good about yourself, and proud of the photos you show us.
Good Luck. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="
