I found this item in a Park this weekend and it was within inches of an 1896 Indian Head Cent. It is all metal but not for sure what kind of metal for the design part of it. I think it might be Aluminum or Gold Plated Silver. It says Germany on the back of it. Any info or guesses are greatly appreciated. Hi, Don't know how big it is, but see if anyone thinks its a rosette for a horse? It actually reminds me of something that you would hold curtains back with. Only a couple of suggestions to see if any one else has any ideas.
 
It measures an Inch and a Half. Thanks for the possible items you mentioned and Good Luck and HH.
