Hello fellas !
I was just wondering if anybody on this forum knew of any Producing Civil war relic sites around Shiloh TN. that "Still" Produce?, anybody got any good finds or Leads there lately? I was thinking about taking A trip out that way pretty soon & was wondering about a good spot to hunt very close Or Adjacent to the National Battlefield on Private Property of course!

I have several places around Shiloh park but the relics are few and far between now. Everything around the park has been hunted to death. I have concentrated my efforts to the town I live in, Michie. It is between Shiloh Tn and Corinth MS and they came straight through here on the way to and on the way back from Shiloh. I am still findind a few things but Michie(or Monterey in 1863) has been hunted hard also.

Hey Thanks Mark! The Shiloh National Relic hunt is in a few weeks & I was Planning on attending, Riley Gunter is supposed to send me the Details of the Prizes to be won, this will be the first "competition" Relic hunt I've been too, But I just wish it wasen't An all "Seeded" hunt It would be nice if it was something like the North & South hunt or the GNRS hunt up in Richmond where the relics you dig are "Not planted" I know the stuff Awarded at Shiloh will be Authentic im sure, But I just think it would be even nicer if it was the Original stuff Associated with the site were hunting, hey I would like to maybe get together when we go & maybe Hook up, or will you be going to the hunt too?

I was thinking of going but I found out there is a golf tournament that weekend and I always play in this one it is a biggie. Let me know if you will be staying after the hunt and we might could hunt Sunday. Please let me know.
