Does anyone know if the AT Pros that are being sold now have already had the "upgrades" done to them?

Just wondering as I am considering one and would like to know. Thanks in advance for any help.

From what I understand all the new AT Pro detectors being sold are the latest new upgraded models from the factory. I got mine from Kellyco and it was advertised as the new upgraded model on there web page. Just ask witch ever dealer you buy from if it's the newer model before purchasing it to make sure. Mine is the upgraded model and so far mine has worked great.

Beware of the good used AT Pro's on Ebay. From what I am seeing based on the photos, many have not had the upgrade despite what the owners claim. Most I saw had the old tubes without the cam locks.

You can still send them in for the upgrade until the end of the year so you cannot go wrong there.

However seeing that you can buy them with the upgrades from many sources, the price would have to be really good before I would be interested.

Jerry.

Unless a dealer has old stock on his shelf i would bet they are new. All mine is the new version with the extra "goodies" includes. Garrett backpack, AT Pro hat, Coil cover Etc...

Best bet is call the dealer and ask him or her before you purchase.

That Garrett backpack is a very useful accessory to own, especially if you relic hunt, hunt in the woods or hunt in gold country. It carries a lot of supplies such as coils, detectors, gold pans, food, water etc.
