Does anybody know if the book Monty was writing for the X-Terra's a while back, ever get published?

Had my computer go belly up on me in December. Lost a good deal of material.

Up and running again, and working on "the book." However, my book wasn't strictly on the X-Terra series. It is a general application book about metal detectors, and metal detector training. It is sort of a seminar in book form with some tips & techniques.

In addition, I was going to include, or offer, additional sections on certain metal detectors, especially those that are quite versatile. To be such, a model has to have available a decent smaller-than-stock coil.

Hopefully, from what was mentioned on this forum a couple of months ago, you will have your wish granted for the small coil. Your Springtime was the expected date (as the person who rang Minelab was so informed by them at the time). Seeing is believing though. I got tired of waiting and bought an Ace; partly due to a number of issues I was having with my particular X-Terra at the time. After dusting it off last week end, I actually started to enjoy it again, so I might use it a bit more often.

I know you love the X-terras.Minelab knows it would be good marketing!! Minelab should really take the point and make a smaller coil. They want them in your book!!!

sounds like the ace will be in the book, and hopefully the XT as we never know how long you will be along when the xt's have new sniper and such coming out for them.
