Does anybody know how to save a screen shot of Google Satellite Maps????:throw:

I found some weird looking sites in my local forest preserve using "google maps", using the "satellite" view. But I can't figure out a way to save the screen shot of the area. I want to save it, add some notes, then print it so that I can use it as a map. I tried to right click the mouse, it doesn't give an option to "save picture as". I tried "select all" and "save as", but that just saves the httml. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Or do you know of another website that has satellite pics for free, that you can save and print???

If not, I will have to draw it my self, I would rather have the sat. pic.

I suppose you could hit control/print screen which will copy what ever is on your screen. Then it could be pasted, cropped and sized with a photo software program.

Up in the upper left hand corner it should " File ".

Click on " File " . Then click on " Print ".

Hope that helps.

HH,

I believe tabdog is referring to goggle earth, which is a website that has satellite pics for free. You will have to download the program however.
