Does anybody (but NebTrac) find more than two Seated Ladies in one day????

Sorry Troy--but I couldn't pass that one up! ---I found two Seated Ladies in a day once (a quarter & a dime)----but I had to dig 'em up! ---------Del

Twice in my six yrs of hunting have I gotten two seated in one day, last yr got 2 within an hour at an old park, and 2 yrs ago I got 2 at one farm yard.....all dimes!

In a little over a week, I done it 3 times. All coming form the same field. It took a couple years research and to run it down, but it is a virgin site that has the potential to spit old coins out for a while. Never had this happen before and probably never will happen again. Enjoying the ride right now while I can before it dries up.

You have done well with the seateds Goes4ever.----Those two seateds I found in one day was in '09.----That same day that I found the seated quarter & seated dime, I also found five Barber dimes & one merc---but you think I could find a silver rosie that day---I couldn't find one of those buggars to save my life & I hunted my guts out! ------Anyway, I haven't found a Seated Liberty since that time ('09).-------I think it would be much easier for us to find the Seated Ladies the way Troy does!!!-----Ok Troy, I'm gonna let up on ya now! ----------Del

Thank you. Until now, I have managed a seated once in a while if rom a park or old farm house, but never multiples. Never dug a half dime until now. Dug my fair share of barber dimes and barber quarters. Just can't seem to find a barber half or a seated quarter. Never been fortunate to find a silver dollar either, although I was at a old fair site several years ago and saw both a Morgan dollar and a barber half come out in about a 5 minute span about 20 feet from each other. Not by me though.

I got 3 seated several times with my E-Trac and got 2 seated dimes last Wed. with my CTX along with 2 Barbers a 16s Merc 2 V nickles a Buffalo and 10 Indians.Best day yet with the CTX. I must say the E-Trac cleaned up most of my sites rather well making it tough for the CTX to produce all that much more.

3 seated would be a killer day. Not to mention 2 seated, 2 barbers, and a merc. Only if a Rosie would have shown up. Great finds and what a great day.

I wouldn't have passed it up either Del!

I did find a seated dime and a seated quarter in the same field just East of Sargent. They were on separate hunts but about 100 yards apart. Slow hunting 5 acres of cornstalks.

Great hunt(s) Ray, congrats!------Isn't it funny how that works---My wife is a retired school teacher & they keep records of EVERYTHING! ------Anyway, she decided to start keeping records of our hunts, finds, etc. eleven years ago and has done so since that time.----- Together, we have found lots of silver dimes, silver quarters, some silver halves, four Morgans & two Peace dollars.-----But listen to this & this is where it gets strange(?)---up until 12/29/'12 and 119,294 coins found/recovered (clad & all--total coins found)---neither one of us had EVER found an Eisenhower dollar---found lots of Susies & Sacs but no Ikes.-----Then when it finally happened (first Ike, a 1977-D) it was my wife that found it.-----I know the Ikes didn't circulate much--but you would think they would be found once in awhile.---Not by us anyway! ---------Del

That's strange about the Ike's Del.

2 days after I found my one and only Morgan, I was hunting in Atlanta, Iowa, in their big park. On a slope, I got a dollar signal, but was really shallow. I remember almost passing up as a smashed pop can, but went ahead and fished out a '72 Ike.

More than two seated coins in a day?????? That's a good one. LOL. I've never even found one in over 35 years of detecting. I'm happy to find more than two of any kind silver coins in a day. I'm really happy if one's a Barber. Unfortunately, you don't find many coins that old where I'm at.

That's it? Those are 2 days that we all dream about. Very nice. A seated quarter and seated half are both on the list of finds for this year. Can only hope.
