Doc's Treasure Screamer Excalibur

Antartic?? you might find some nice brass polar bear and penguin nuts:laugh: or plenty of clients for a welder

Tell me about it, that's why we are going in their summer season, then it is back to Buenos Aires and then overland to Santiago. We need to take some more Spanish lessons to knock the rust off our Spanish language skills.
The idea of spending New Years in Antarctica was too good to pass up and the deals they are offering right now made the decision to go even easier. I've captained lots of boats but never been on a cruise ship before, this should be interesting.

Cheers Mate,

The chatter you hear is normal with the DF its up to the operator to really listen for the breaks in the chatter add a little pulse delay to settle the threshold down... some of the "whispers" are actually silent breaks in the threshold... a PI has less of a problem with black sand than a VLF does... my DF spits crackles all the time its part of the game when you run the detector hot... learn it and you will love it.. I started water hunting with a PI and will never use a VLF in the water... my GT is only for areas where I know its iron infested usually at the bottom of the slope and up in the dry stuff...

Thanks Craig, I know it will take time...And the feed back has been Great from you guys...Now it's like a new toy, with all the info I have, and going to order CJC's book........I know it will be excellent in the water..And I have a few place's I need the depth..cause the excal does very poorly in the places.

The Dually is one deep seeking monkey... you do need to learn it and get the sounds down in your head. As said once you listen to it enough to get past the chatter... down down you go! I am thinking about getting a CZ-21 to add to my arsenal though... HH Mikey
