I got an email saying my PayPal account was going to be suspended for some 'irreruglarities' with my account. The link took me to http://fox.netfield.se/manual/paypal/error.html - a page saying 'this page has moved - click here' and was re-routed to a web page that looked like a PayPal page. Red flags were popping up in my mind when the questions went beyond what I thought was normal.
Name, address, city, state, zip, credit card number, number off the back of the card and WHAT IS THE PIN NUMBER YOU USE TO ACCESS AN ATM (Red flag right there) are questions asked. I left the website not completing the info and closed then re-opened by browser - went to PayPal site and logged in with no problem. Left them a message saying it appears someone is trying to steal credit card info. Gave em the facts. Waiting to hear back from them.
Why would someone ask you for your PIN number?????
Better to be safe than sorry. So beware.
