Hi I am going to buy my first detector monday and just wanted to know if you think that the F2 is a good detector? i live in Boca Raton, Florida and want to use it in the surf and sand, will this do the trick, or any other reccommendations in the 250-350 price range

thanks everyone

hi massagepro, i'm not very familiar with the f2, but i do know that it's a good starter machine made by fisher. you will learn a lot from it about mding. it will do you well on dry land and dry sand, but probably not too well in the wet sands. you will need a dedicated beach machine if you want to detect the wet surf and sand with no problems. good luck, and hh,

Thank you for your info gray ghost, I do need a machine that if it gets wet i wont have to worry so much, so maybe i will look a little more
