I sure like that bay colored horse, reminds me of a mustang. You must have ESP because the last several days, I have been wondering what became of those horses. Thanks for posting the pictures and story. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Just give them a little care, a little love and some time, and they do not even look like the same animals.

Mike do you have like a dude ranch,or the horses just a hobby,my older brother has a few race horses at Hastings racetrack. He is 10 years older then me,do not really see him much.Congrats on a fine job.

We found that it was a really good way to lose money; and lots of it!!! What we do now is raise Canadian sport ponies/horses. Or, as in this case, rescue them and fix and fit them up. While not particularly rewarding financially [although on occasion, you can make a few dollars], there is a great satisfaction in easing the life of the animals.

Alice has the ability to just 'know' what a horse needs. She has had that ability as long as I have known her. And, in spite of the problems that she has, she enjoys it. :)

Was Jimmy Arnold riding, when you were there,he passed away.Your right about the money,my brother has a roller-coaster life.I wish he would get out of the fast lane, and smell the roses. There will be slot machines there this fall,to improve the stakes, very hard somedays to fill a race.I am not involved in racing any shape or form. That is very kind work you do with the horses,no deed goes unpunished or something like that..
