Do you Pixel Peek?

Another cause of GAS Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
If your looking at your picture at 100% on your monitor, your picture could look funky. You end up with the desire to sharpen that picture up to super clarity in camera.
If its not working, you think you need better lenses, camera etc.,
Now, reduce the size of your picture to the size of your monitor. Wow, what a difference, pretty sharp picture now.
Then if you once look at your picture at 100% step back about 6 feet, looks pretty good doesn't it.

Stop trying to make the picture look perfect at 100%, you'll drive yourself batty and you become a pixel peeker instead of a photographer.
Guess I was becoming a pixel peeker and wanting more gear.

Well said Sven, too many people get wrapped up looking for the ultimate gear.I'd go as far to say that some photos are so sharp they start to look unnatural.
I like my photos to be as sharp as the way my eye sees an image and most good qualty cameras can easily achieve that.I have excellent vision by the way.
