Do you have a "Dream Camera?" How about telling us about it...............

Like many folks, I have a dream camera that I would like to own, a Sony NEX-6 camera. It is small and light weight like a bridge camera, but you can change the lenses to get sharp, detailed, colorful custom pictures. Every few days, I click on the link below and dream, and then feel around the left pocket of my jeans for pocket change to toss into the mason jar labeled NEX-6 Camera. It is fun to dream, makes life more exciting. Will I ever own a Sony NEX-6, who knows, but it is fun dreaming about it.

How about it folks, tell us what your dream camera might be, and why you would like to own one. It should prove interesting reading about what others dream of owning and using some day in the future. Kelley (Texas) :)

and my hope is that it wont cost a second mortgage...lol
This list includes some items available now

enormous memory built-in the camera
Wi fi built in
Remote control
flash of course or be able to take a picture at night without a flash similar quality to daytime hours
solar battery charger built-in
various filters all b uilt-in as well.....for color etc , as well as a polarizer
tiltable view finder and a viewfinder like the 35mm type also (both)
i dont know if i want built in editing software even tho i know some already have it....
and make it smaller and lighter than a DSLR
Almost forgot...a built in GPS with the name of the location and the coordinates

I am aware that many of the cameras have some of these ideas already but i want to buy ONE camera not 5

I would like a camera that is waterproof to 100ft, dust proof, freeze proof to 0F, and fall proof to 25 ft. While many of these features are already available in rugged cameras, they are not to this level as far as I know.

I would also like for this camera to have a 3 inch screen, a viewfinder, a built in flash, 20x optical zoom, a non-moving lense, and the different modes that dslr's have.

to have it when I got my Sony A300 DSLR. Guess what? I still use the viewfinder and only use the live view screen when taking close-up pictures. Kelley (Texas) :)

but my problem is more like its too bright to see anything usually so i need to look at the view finder anyways.

Also, using that screen will eat up your batteries, shorten their life. I will not buy a camera with no viewfinder. Kelley (Texas) :)

I dont care if it has a screen or not but i gotta have a viewfinder ...

I own the Nikon d3, I want the Nikon d4
