Hello all....I'm not asking when do u use each coil.....I'm curious what u find more with the sniper coil or the DD coil ?? it seems to me that I dig less trash with the sniper coil.....the sniper also slows me dowm....and I find more with the sniper on the 350....just curious what kind of answers I get. Thx

Hard to answer......the sniper will get targets where the larger coil wont (close to metal objects and in thick vegetation growth). The larger coil will get better depth and cover a larger area faster then the small sniper due to it's size. It really boils down to what and where you hunt.

I have found more jewelry and small objects with the 4.5 and 5x8....4.5 wins in the tot lots, 5x8 in the grass...

HH,

If I want a 100 coin day-I get the sniper coil. I fly like the wind because=beleive it or not- you cannot swing the coil fast enough to knock out the detection of the coin. One day I was just clowning around and swung the Ace like a golf club and the coin hit like a ton of bricks. In fact,,the faster you swing it the deeper it goes-within reason. I was doing "Snipey and the flying Ace" posts for a while-guess I'll have to do another on my next hunt. I can move almost as fast as with my larger coil! Here's the thing: most people walk WHILE they're swinging and skip a lot of territory. Do this: make several sweeps trying to get the coil paths as close together as possible UNTIL you get off balance and HAVE to take a small step. Pretty soon it will become natural and you can speed it up and really get moving without really missing all that much. Of course whenever I'm in small territories I slow down slightly. I also use Relics mode to avoid as much target masking as possible.
