What i think you will need is the new style hip mount bag that can be used with the control box right on the shaft also. This bag comes with a strap too if you want to use it around you neck for a chest mount. These can be got from a Minelab dealer and have seen some on the classified too at times. These retail for $31.95.
Here is a picture of one I had on my computer from a Elite pro kit they used to sell.The bag has a Velcro strip that comes off when not used as a hip mount and has a slit in it so it will slide right on the control box while mounted on the shaft.

I have a different bag I will have to take a picture of it we bought when we got the detector.
