Do pennies show up as dimes on your Ace?

Yup. Still trying to work around that. Frustrating..

Small silver rings also ring up here. Definately worth digging.

I've got the ACE 250. I've numbered the 12 black segments from 1 - 12. Clad pennies hit back and forth on segments 7 & 8. Copper pennies hit SOLID on segment 9. Of course, all my silver was found on segments 7 - 12 depending on what it's alloyed with. Hope this helps.

Yup sometimes that happens, seems to be when the ground is really wet like after a hard rain!!

On a 1-100 meter pennies can show up from low sixties to high seventies and with limited block segments of a Ace 250 its to be expected especially with pre 1983 pennies...nothing wrong with your unit...nature of the beast...on higher end Garretts with more segments not as prevalent but still does happen...

Like they say, they're copper pennies (pre-1982), hang on to the copper pennies. You'll find a lot of dimes also which is 10x more fun....lol , nothing wrong with your Ace.

My 2500 is always telling me lies, too. I know it well enough to tell a indian penny from a wheatie (no lie) but damn machine can't tell a barber dime from a memorial penny?????
