Do Original Contents In Bottle Make It Worth More?

Manx

New member
I recently found a bottle of Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound sealed with original content in a collapsed old shed. i know the bottle itself isn't a rare one, but does the fact that it has the original contents in it make a significant difference in its value? Sorry if a rookie question, but I'm new to bottle hunting and metal detecting...Thanks!

I know that original contents left in the bottles along with original labels make them more valuable. Can't say for sure how much more valuable, but I know it's best to leave it in there. This one appears to be a later screw cap bottle and not an older cork top making the value minimal in my opinion. Still a really great find, bottles with original labels and contents are very hard to come buy these days....HH
