Tetnically, yes, unless it is in a Right of Way.

It's private property.

Will any one care.

Not if you are nice to people.

Unless it's a small mom and pop place, there

are few concerns that I can see.

I do not suggest that anyone tresspass.

But there are grey areas like this.

The best thing is to repersent our hobby and

your self as friendly and responsible.

I know some don't care about friendly,

but it's a social society and friendly is the

grease that works wonders.

I went to the store to get food and I had my detector with me so after I was done shopping I asked the manager for and got permission to detect, I mostly checked the dirt by the bottom part of the curb where the vehicles park and right along the edge of the top part of the curb where it meets the grass, the only good thing I found was a penny but at least now I can cross the store off my list of places to look.

The store that I detected around is the new super store that was put up last year, the old building that the store was in stands empty, as far as I know there has been no word on what the city plans on doing with the old store, since no one is there who would I ask permission to hunt there?
