Do deeper coins usually have a bigger "profile"?

I've been noticing many softer deeper targets have seemed like large objects by their signal outline.
Do the deepies usually have a soft but large signal or are these just rare signals?

I'm noticing the same thing in air tests. There is a certain range where the coins seem very large on the G2 compared to other machines.

How deep are you talking about? What are the ground conditions?

Surface coins are easy to size up but when a coin is down a few inches it seems to have a wide profile.
It does the same thing in air tests. I'm sure it has to be a fairly clean area or this would not happen.

Depends on dirt and coin written that point . I do know that the 11 inch coil loves bigger targets and the 5inch does like deep coins better. Which do you use?
