Do Cord-Less Earphones Exist?

Does Anyone Know If Cordless Earphones Are Available For Metal Detecting? I've Contacted Radio Shack & A Host Of Others Trying To Find Them But They Don't Seem To Exist For Metal Detecting. I Am Absolutely Amazed That Someone Hasn't Mass Produced Them For The Metal Detecting World. Surely They Would Sell?

Hmmmm I am sure I have read about them, but would worry about it causing issues while detecting. I even leave my cell in the car most times LOL.

Also Radio Shack does have a pair.

I have a bunch of links on file here they are, you should be able to find something:

My radio shack wireless headphones (33-1253) work just fine, got them on sale for $45 and are probably the best deal in wireless anywhere. Why pay $250+? John

>>>Grubstake also posted his wireless headphones by LogiTech a while back and like them a lot:

I have the RS wireless ones. They work rather well for the money. No interference that I have ever noticed. The RS ones have worked the the X-70, MXT and Tesoro detectors.

Thank all of you for your input. It's interesting that a few of the links given here are Radio Shack because I called and talked to a manager of a local store and he told me that Radio Shack no long has "WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR METAL DETECTORS". It's interesting also that RS does carry other wireless stereo headphones but with 1/8" jack and intended for personal electronics use - not metal detectors. As was stated on another forum, the sounds you'd expect to hear are different, which means a new learning curve. I will take my detector and some targets to the RS store and test some of their wireless units so I can hear what they sound like. It would be nice if Detector Pro would make the Grey Ghost headphones wireless. That's what I'm looking for! Guess I should have stated that in the beginning huh? Thanks again for all your help.

I've been using the Radio Shack set for a couple years. Wouldn't leave home without them.

they work great on my F70 and XT50. Haven't used my Troy phones since having the wireless RS headphones. Might sell the Troy headphones. HH

I tried Logitec, Motorola and some others. All bluetooth units have a signal lag. But the Radio Shack 33-1253 phones work great! I'm not spending $250 for metal detecting headphones when these work fantastic. Been using them for over 2 years. You won't be sorry.

I know this is an old post but I will answer anyway,,,, I got mine from EBAY,, MAX FUN Model BT-30 around 35 dollars,, and they are great and light no weight to carry..
