do black widows work on the CTX

I have tried the stereo mono adapter i have tried many headphones both in and with the wireless and none work. it has me confused as other are saying they can get the wireless to work with some headphones with the adapter?

I have read that Auvio wireless headphones work on the CTX but you have to add resistance through and inline volume control just like when you use them on the AT Pro. There is not enough resistance to turn off the internal speaker without one added.

I got my sunray golds to work with the wireless module and detector itself with no issues
at all as far as being able to hear with them. Gary

just hit the switch on the side
All these post about some working and some not has me thinking some CTX are wired diferently.
I have tried the Balckwidows both in the unit and in the wireless and tried the switch in both positions and get noting. No really I don't hear anything and the speaker from the CTX isn't woring either, once a headphones is connected. I have seen others not turn the speaker off and they both work at the same time. I have tried 6 different headphones some are striaght mono and they don't work.

It sounds to me that you might have more of a problem than headphone compatibility, their might be something wrong with the headphone adaptor. Mono headphones and mono headphone adaptors should work as well as the WM-10 should work on almost all headphones. Make sure that your headphone volume is turned up on the CTX and if you still have problems, I would call your dealer or Minelab service.
