DLR tot lot after golfing

Hey guys went to a close by tot lot that I have been to regularly on the weekends using the new 11 inch coil on the Delta, learning what it does and how it compares to the standard 8 inch and 5 inch coils. Seems to go a bit deeper and have been able to find the sweet spot for pinpointing, seems to be right near where the coil attaches to the swing arm, I was using the 580 pin pointer to check how close it was to the center of the target. Was going to the beach this weekend due to the high and low tides expected, but too many spring breakers and too many nosey lookie loos. When it said which coin it was, turned out to be right on, although the distance was off a bit, said deeper than it really was, could be the sand at the lot, has a bit of metallic dirt under it, black and rich soil. So, anyway this is what I found in about an hour of looking.

Nice finds keep digging !!!

Remember when you are checking depth that your coil was probably not flush to the ground and that is added tto the depth estimate. We usually measure the hole to the lip, but the coil may have been an inch or two higher when it said 5 or 6 inches and thhe coin was 4.

I am paid to state the obvious. What a life!

good finds, glad your getting the hang of your new coil.

More than you had when you started! Looks like you have it figured out.
