DIY rechargable battery pack.

TROLL #2
Just found this last night and did it today. Easy and fast, cost me $30 because I used Enloop Pro's. Twice the capacity of the stock pack and save $100 over the RNB.

I like the 3 bay 18650 Battery pack sold on ebay. I have one on my etrac and it is good for 30 hours of hunting. It only cost 22.00 delivered from Ukraine.

I been running the enloops rechargeables
for about five years now. I keep them as a backup up. While using my RNB battery pack.

I have seen that. Where do you get the batteries for that?

I have a hunting buddy that uses the RNB. After dropping $1500 on a detector I can't see buying a $140 battery.

Buy the batteries from a reputable source in US. Like

buy 3 batteries and a lithium charger. Total cost around 60 with battery holder

Thanks for the share...

Great idea there to resurrect the old rechargeable battery pack.

My 3 favorite accessories for the etrac in no certain order;

1. Zagg Screen Protector
2. Herke Arm Cuff (with or without stand)
3. Battery by RNB

Honorable mention: Back before I tore up my shoulder, I would have added a SunRay X-1 pinpointer. (newer black model)
