I like the idea...Think I may give it a shot...the Strap thing IS a pain in the arse...

not sure how it will fit up to all models but you can't hurt anything. no holes to drill and it's an easy and fun mod. we will see if it goes the distance. i might try it on my ACE 250 with the brick on it (DD coil) i meant

If you go this route I should say the Mod on a Whites V3i will eventually take this form. I have used this long enough and after trying today to work without it... forget it! So much easier on the wrist if you don't have to balance the machine all day from the pistol grip. It's now second nature and I removed the foam completely and added two more short pieces to be sure the loops won't creep up.

If you travel this road this is what the final Mod will look like on a V3i, VX3.... enlarge the images to see details
