Diving in October! Somebody is MAD!

Well it lasted a whole half a tank!! It was almost in the 80's yesterday so I THOUGHT it would be a nice day to dive. Talk about freezing to death! WOW. Anyway, believe it or not I am going to try one more dive tomorrow. I will put my shortie under my 5 mil and see what happens. Maybe just maybe I can be comfortable enough to concentrate on finding something!!

Anyway, my total was an old silver ring, 3 wheat pennies a clad dime and a nickel. The best find was the old wood fishing lure with the glass eyes intact. I love finding old lures and I have a small collection of them. Three old swim buckles and a plastic whistle were about it.

Second from top on the left hand side is a Hansen Lifelike minnow. Handmade in Detroit in 1908 and 1909. In great shape its one of the most expensive lures a thousand dollars. In two pieces missing the paint and the hooks I got 100.00 for it.

Almost all wood lures have some value, some for parts and some just need to be repainted. I save the ones that don't fall apart when I find them.
