Long story short...my 90 yr old grandmother was on hospice care but holding her own. I took Monday off from work with the intention of hunting an old park near their home early that mourning then visiting with the grandparents that after noon. I was going along and dug a nice signal at about 5 inches. I noticed it was some kind of forign coin stuck it in my pouch.I no more than did that and my mom called my cell and told me grandma took a turn for the worse, so I packed up and headed over. Grandma passed away that evening surrounded by her family. Yesterday I was cleaning up my finds and noticed that coin was a 1921 German 10 Pfhennig. Grandma was 100% German, go figure

Nice find on the coin. When was she born?

She was born in 1924. Thank all of you for your kind words and thoughts.
