DIV 14 Video

I'm sure a lot of you guys go to the Diggin in VA forum, and have already seen this. But if you don't go there, here is a video I did while hunting up there. It's short and simply a side show of the big show. There were a few days of the hunts that the weather looked like it was gonna rain at any time and I didn't carry my camera with me, or I would have had a lot more footage. I will be remedying this though and am just gonna buy a waterproof/dust proof camera. This videoing stuff is too much fun :)

For those of you accessing this via mobile phone, you probably wont see the video here.

Hey Daniel, I really enjoyed the video! You always post some interesting and informative videos and I watch them all. How'd you like the White Oak museum? Most awesome display of relics I've ever seen! Nice finds from the DIV. That plate would have made my hunt too! Congrats man!
Mike

Great video! A lot of variety in that one. Congrats on your DIV finds, especially the plate.

When we first pulled into the parking lot, me and my buddy looked at one another with a puzzled look on our face. "THIS is the place they talk about so much?!!". We went in....paid our $4 and went to the little show room. "Hmmm...these folks talking this place up must not have good Civil War displays around where they live" as I looked into the little display cases of arrowheads.

Then I started down the little hall...started seeing the war stuff then and it started getting better. By the time I got to the room with the reconstructed winter huts, I said "well it was worth it coming to just see this". Then once I entered the other hall way with the belt plates and such, it became the best museum I've ever been to, BAR NONE!! I walked on my jaw several times in that area of the place. LOL. I will be back!!

Va has lots ofplaces to relic hunt no doubt.... I was up that way the same weekend but not on the dig! I did take my detector and found some great relics at a camp I have hunted many times. Found some good relics as usual. I just moved to Georgia last year and have not relic hunted here very much due to not knowing anyone that relic hunts or the spots to go. I went to Dalton one weekend and pulled a couple bullets and one eagle button. I have a place in TN on Watts Bar lake and go there often. Let me know if you need anyone to hunt with around North GA or TN around Chatt...
Enjoyed your video greatly. It makes me homesick to watch when I am tring to find anywhere here...ha
Thanks for the vid!
