Disturbing image; Etrac gets key barber dime

My wife and I got on a small yard that was being landscaped Saturday. We were about to drive off after the workers told us the owner wasn't there when the foreman ran up to the truck and told us wait, the owner is one of our crew and we are flipping the house. He then arranged permission. Wow, how often does that happen? My very first target was a silver barber followed by a few 1950's wheats. I saw the condition was pretty worn and didn't even bother checking the date until we left. I about died when I realized that the dime was THE KEY DATE of the Barber dime series. ( Excepting the 1894S which only 24 were made ).

Ouch! pretty rough shape but I am completely happy to have found it!

Super find! Its a great thrill to know you found something of that caliber of a coin, worn or not! That is awesome. Thanks for the pictures.

Excellent find !

Nice find! A key date in any condition is nice.

That's cool !! I found a 95-0 BD about 20 yrs ago, maybe just a little less worn than yours. :clapping:
