distance measured on the screen....

A negative note on the V3, I noticed today during a test.
I'll have to see if I have the same degree in earth same reason is this: the V3, equipped with a digital number written on the right of the display the depth of the target.
I note that the distance measured on the screen is 6 inches less than real!

I think you need to spell out more details in your statement.

Pinpoint Mode? or just a search mode? How did you determine the accuracy, or inaccuracy? Air test? Which coil?

My experience is to the contrary of your statement, it's very accurate in pinpoint mode. If in search mode it's just an estimate, and that is not "very" accurate but that's why I pinpoint. That and depending on how your coil is aligned relative to the target it can affect the depth accuracy as well. I'm sure others will weigh in on the topic.

This has been covered, please use the search option to see if problems have been discussed before. We had a post that ran about 7 pages only to find in my option that people don't know how to use the depth feature. This again was just discussed in the last few days. I'm not going to write my last post over again. The V is accurate if you do it right and use the right screen.

I don't want to get anyone mad but how many times must we tell how to tell you have a bad coil as an example? It's been covered many times. USE THE SEARCH FIRST.

I used this search feature and got 98 posts for depth readings. Rob
