Disrupting and disrespect of military funerals ..... bit long , link follows rant

A Yahoo Feb.21 news item. A Rev.(?) Fred Phelps is promoting organized protests at funerals; Some Reverend! When military men an women are brought home to their final rest, having served their country, they are deserving of ceremony and RESPECT! Where did this whacko and his idiot followers come from?

I'm Canadian and never joined the military. An older brother, living at Sumas, retired, Canadian Air Force, died last year in Bellingham WA., the funeral was at Sumas WA. He was a Legion member and by family request, the American Legion provided an Honor Guard. A very moving and much appreciated acknowledgement of his military service.

Perhaps not my place to comment on a US issue, but this story really got to me !

about time he did some thing that I agree with, it's now against the law in Wisconsin to protest at funerals.
