I was out detecting on Wednesday using my trusted MXT with my new armrest. After about 3 and a half hours my display faded in and out then had all bars on the screen. After that it went blank. I thought it might be a battery issue so I put in a fresh set, but still no display. I turned it off and on several times to no avail. I was still receiving audio though. I was in the middle of a good spot and there was a crowd so I continued searching "old school" with just audio. I took a break and went to the cooler for lunch. When I turned my MXT on after lunch (15-20 min) the display came up and worked fine for the rest of the afternoon. Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem?

Yep I think a lot of people have. When mine was new it would go blank quiet often. Never for a long time. It would always come back up. But it quit doing that after the first 6 months or so and has never done it again. theresa
