It would appear from my posts that I use a lot of discrimination but that is not the case. I use an open screen but with Crown caps, lower right rejected, and about 98% of the IM-15 area rejected. I then kill pulltabs, tails, and other small bits of aluminum with a single dot or pixel based on the amount of trash surveyed with Learn. I don't kill anything in the silver or copper range. I kill very little in the foil and aluminum range and then with no more than a single dot for each target most of the time. This way any rejected target must match the single dot pixel for rejection. Using the small, medium, and large square for learn is the same as selecting a notch size. Most rings and the like will fall outside of the single pixel dot rejection area from my tests and experience. If we consider we have 1094 pixels to notch I don't have more than 50 rejected.
The posts are not to get anyone to change there way of hunting but to give some interesting ways that may be of interest. I test all these programs, sometimes for as long as a year, before posting them. I throw away as many as I keep so take my posts with that in mine.
Have a great day,
