i dont have the book from andy sabisch yet but did order one. the manual i got with the E-TRAC about the discrimination i really dont under stand. i have been used to going threw numbers on my old metal detector and reject numbers or accept numbers from 95- to 95+ sence im only hunting coins is the coin program good just the way it is from the factory for the discrimination. and just make some changes to the other settings like volume gain tone ID threshole and sensitivity. and dig all high tones.

The factory program is a great place to start for the most part. The only change you might want to try is opening the top right corner of the screen so you can detect silver dollars,Ray.

Hey Kevin, don't just did all the high tones, dig the nickels also, the etrac is a heck of a nickel machine, you'll be surprised. Ken-ks

The mid-tones is where you will find the gold and old brass buttons too...
