i have an area that they play touch football on.the supporters of both teams tend to sit in a certain area and watch the game, however not all the supporters sit upright and tend to roll around a bit on the ground.lucky me,finds can good.however right in the middle of this spot is an old vigaro concrete strip over grown by grass.right up to the edge around it i find coins and sometimes jewellery.my problem is the vigaro old court has iron re-enforcing in it and sends the detector nuts.i can,t discrimate the iron out of the picture.my question is there a detector that can disc out iron in this situation?i have used an xterra705 and a tesoro vaquero.both appear to be a waste of time.emubob, bye for now

not familiar with the 705 but possibly try some TTF with open screen (if possible with that model) and a small coil....might hear a few high tones mixed in with the grunts..????

The only possible way of getting around that problem and it still would not be 100$ either and that would be by using the Tesoro and a very small coil, then i would think it could be possible to make some headway, you wont be able to do it all but that would be the only option i think you have by using a small coil of possible 4-5'' dia.

You will of course loose some depth but at least you will have the possibilty of finding some item but i doubt that you will recover it all,i had the same type of problem in the UK a woman had lost here expensive ring in the lambing shed and that had steel bars in the floor as well, only thing that worked was my old Tesoro with the 4'' coil, found the ring but boy was it hard work, but did gain some good permission for finding the ring.
