Discovery 3300 coil upgrade

Hey guys this isn't what you think! I remember looking everywhere for a new coil when I got my 3300 and the only thing I could find anywhere was a few threads that said I could use the Fischer f2 dd. I know that I wasn't the only one to be looking as there were several other threads at the time so I would assume that someone is probably still interested in upgrading their coil for the 3300. With that in mind I just wanted to say nel makes several coils for the 3300 including tornado. Just a FYI!

I can't comment on the NEL coils, but I can vouch for the 11"DD coil. The 11"DD coil works great on both my Pioneer 505 and my Legacy 3500 (which is a newer version of the Discovery 3300). It adds a few inches of depth detection capability and works great in highly mineralized ground. Another plus is that it is made in the USA, which makes it easier to resolve warranty issues if you have problems with the coil.
