Discovery 3300 at tot lot "Ring" !!

Well, it was 95 degrees outside and I had to go get some gas in the car. While I was out the "addiction" hit. Stopped at two tot lots for about 45 minutes each. It was definitely too hot for this old man. No shade of any kind at the tot lots. Not bad hunting. The ring didn't make it feel any cooler, but sure did make me happy.

Awsome finds in such a short hunt! I would be hot in the winter much less in the summer if I would hit rings like that!:hot:

Good Job, I once found 2 Sapphire and Diamond rings within 5ft of each other in a tot lot!! (Sand). Both were 9k Y/G. I've found some very good finds in tot lots. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:

New to this... what is as tot lot?

Congrats on your find. I have a 3300 also and just in the backyard found someolder and newer coins and some small old junk. Lots of fun and will be going to the beach soon.

Thanks...

A "tot lot" is a children's play area usually around schools and parks. They are covered in sand, wood chips or tire chips. They make for easy hunting, when you don't want to dig in the dirt and don't care about finding older coins. It is a great place to hone up on detecting skills and can usually be hunted in all metal mode because there usually not many trash items. Try some and you will definitely go back.
