Discovery 3300 at the beach again

Decided to grab the detector and head to Virginia Beach after supper. The weather was perfect. There were still a lot of people on the beach when I got there at 8pm. I hunted from 24th through 26th street. Sure was a great way to spend the evening. Did not hunt the wet sand. Just the dry stuff. The rings keep avoiding me, but I will find some eventually. Just a matter of time.

I was stationed at NOB Norfolk a number of years ago. Back then [I think it was just past the boardwalk?] there was an open plaza area right next to the beach that they had concerts in...[maybe it was between 18th and 21st?] Anyway I'll bet between tourists and drunken sailors you have tons to find. Good luck.

Nice finds Rich! Way to go. Hey, I live in Va Bch. If you ever want a tag a long, let me know. I'm new at this and learning. I have an Ace 250. Most I've taken from the beach was 57 cents one night a few weeks ago. I'd like to watch someone do it who knows what they're doing!

Take care,
Brian
