Thanks....That's the ACE 300. It's a higher end level entry machine. There was the ACE 100, the ACE 200 and The ACE 300. All three used the Crossfire II coils, and the ACE 100 was hard wired to it's coil.
It gets average depth, has variable controlled discrimination, and a feature called the "Treasure Eye" which helps to pinpoint using a screen. It also shows you a probable target with a cursor on a screen. If you can get one quite cheap, get it, or consider buying a used ACE, which has more options. Good luck Bugar

Youv'e had more garretts than i have, and i knew you'd know, iv'e had 5 in the past, all good, just not familiar with this one, still not sure, can get a newie cheap but i just don't know, jury's out yet, thanks, how's battery life on this one, 20 hr or so ???

Looks like the Treasure Ace 300 that I field tested about 100 years ago. Does it have the Treasure Eye pinpointing? The pic is a little fuzzy.

Yeah it's a litle tricky to pinpoint with as I recall. In the Treasure Eye two cursors jump back and forth then meet in the middle and try to beat the hell out of each other. IF I can find the mag with my field test in it I'll try to post it.
