To all you multi machine owners, how does the disc.depth on the Exlporer compare to the other brand machines you use and what are the other brands?

Here is a site for comparison tests, only it does't have the explorer just the sovereign.

Here is a location of many forums. Something may be going on.

Hope this is something you may be interested in.

Thanks. Not trying to find out the bad, just how much MORE BETTER the XS is than the rest. Am soon to own one.

Nothing out there compares to the Explorer for accuracy of discrimination on deep targets that I am aware of. Not the Spectrum/XLT, not the Fisher CZ series. It is one of the big advances that won me over to it and relegated my Spectrum to the closet.

Same here Mike. I sold my XLT as I have no further use for it after hunting with the Explorer XS since last August. I compared detection depth between the XLT and XS in a coin garden and found the XS goes way beyond the XLT's limits.
