I have read that some of you that use the deus set disc at 5-10. I also have read that a lot go by the sound and not the VDI...So what do you dig on your VID #. I have read that some will dig 40 and above. On my detector and I know it is not a Deus I dig from 50 and above. I find bullets and buttons and relics and coins. Most everything below 50 has been bad iron nails or trash...

Depends on site . Older relic site verses say a park with lots of modern trash. Relic sites 20 and above and at parks with heavy can slaw and similar I often dig 60 and above. If old park that is fairly clean will dig 50 and up unless looking for gold rings then maybe a bit lower but all is relative to target depth, size and tonal quality .

50 or 60 above???? at what frequency? Its a decision thats based on what frequency you are running isn't it?

I hunt with my G2 at 19 but I may try for relic hunting 12 freq
