Dime Trifecta plus one !!!!!

Had a great group hunt today with Robo99, Zach, Martin V3i, Tripperman79, and Polecat at a nearby park being renovated where we have been finding silvers and wheats. We met up about 7:00 am and there were some other forum members from McKinney that were also planning a hunt there. There were probably around 9 guys out there swinging today. I was really excited to put my new to me E-trac to the test today because I spent yesterday afternoon tweaking my settings. I had it set up like G4E's settings which included setting the threshold pitch real high and it didn't take long for me to realize that I don't hear those high pitch sounds very well due to some hearing loss so I had to tweak it to my preference. I was using a modified coin program today that worked out real well for me. My first silver was a Rosie that I found near where I have been finding lots of wheats and Robo99 found a Merc in a previous hunt. I was pretty surprised because I know the area had been hit pretty hard. My next silver was a Merc in some grated area. We broke for lunch and had some great hamburgers and I had some big onion rings to go with it. Mmmmm. We got back after our break and knew I wanted to hunt an area where I found a wheat right before we broke for lunch where the construction guys had cut a roadway for their machinery. I got about halfway down the road and got a good dime signal and a real nice tone. The depth meter showed around 6-7 inches and I dug down about that far when a 1900 Barber popped out....TRIFECTA !!!! I finished the roadway and found some clad and another wheat and then started looking for some shade because it was very hot. I found a shaded area next to the entrance where they had taken probably around 4 inches or so off the top and started swinging. I got another nice high tone and a 12-45 signal and dug down 4 or so inches to uncover another Merc ... #4 silver for the day !! We hunted for a while longer and ended up leaving a little after 3pm. It was a great day with good friends and even got to meet some new guys. My totals for the day were 4 silver dimes, 6 clad dimes, 1 nickel, 5 wheat pennys, 12 memorials.

I am definitely loving the E-trac !!! I really felt confident with it today the way I had it set up.
