Dime trifecta and gold.:clapping:

I haven't posted for a while and sorry for not replying to some of the nice finds by you fellows. Had some computer problems and been busy getting my 5th wheel trailer cleaned up and making sure everything works before our trip to Montana in June.

I did better then I expected to on Sat at our club hunt. Went to yet another pounded park and it started out very slow. Got a little bit of clad and a couple of wheaties and then out pops a 44 war nickel. I was going so slow even the snails were passing me by. I kept telling myself that there has got to be some more silver at this place and then I got a high tone and dug up a 1960 rosie. That put a smile on my face for sure. Had about a half hour left before our lunch break and I got this little bit of a high sound. One of those iffy signals, but it was reading about six inches deep so I knew it might be worth digging. Dug my plug and saw this bit of silver and it was a 1907 Barber dime. Rechecked my hole and got another signal and it was a 1904 Indian. Guess you could call it a small pocket spill and the oldest one that I have ever dug.:clapping: Got another wheat and then it was lunch time. My buddy Lee got a 1920 merc and some wheats and one of the gals got a silver quarter and Jim got a 1900 v-nickel. Other then that there wasn

That's a fine collection of digs :beers: Congrats on the silver and gold.

Good finds Eddie. We have rain here and a lot of it.

Nice goin!:clapping:
Doesnt sound like that park has been too pounded...

Very Nice Eddie!!!

Thanks to Steve, born2hunt, TokenDigger, Bryce, teleman2525, TwoRivers, bbgman, Dave-IL, McDave, Aaron, BigDigger, Big Fang, cz6aBill and raweppler for your nice comments. It's always nice to get replies to our posts and I hope they encourage more fellows to keep on swinging and post their finds just as they do for me. Don't ever give up on what you feel are hunted out places. The place we had the hunt is over 200 acres in size and there is no way that every square inch has been detected and yet the silver I found plus the gold ring were found in areas that probably have been hunted many, many times before. HH.

Eddie

Wow, 200 acres is a huge place to hunt (I mean, that's possibly like hunting 100 different 2 acre parks). It's probably challenge enough just to find stuff due to the sheer size of the area as much as having been hunted at all!

And great finds too - thanks for sharing.

Proving there is still still Silver and Gold to be found on the west side. Good for you. Nice hunt.
