Is there anything in the works to allow direct download to HD Bypassing the internet and photo shops.........TIA
 
You just need a reader. Any of the PCMCIA, CompactFlash or Smartmedia cards that plug into a USB reader already are treated as a drive letter by Windows so Windows Explorer just takes the whole lot of them off the card, erases it in the same motion and puts it on the regular hard drive. Do it all the time. Seems to be what you're talking about.
