Digital Rebel XSi...

I haven't been by too much lately but you guys have been posting some really nice photos!
I don't take the time to comment on each one like I should but I have seen some great shots!

I sold my Digital Rebel XTi the other day without meaning to...
It's my backup camera to the EOS-40D so I had to replace it.

I bought the Digital Rebel XSi that comes with the image stabilized 18-55 lens in the kit.
First impressions are that it's a very user friendly, lightweight outfit.
The included shots are with that lens.

I wanted to shoot some with a longer lens but I sold my 75-300 Canon lens with my XTi.
I have two brand new Canon 75-300 lenses that I'm going to put on Craigslist or eBay to put the money towards the Canon 70-300 IS lens but I've not done that yet...

I normally shoot in the RAW but these were shot as jpeg's and just slightly adjusted in Google's Picasa...

What programs are you guys doing your post processing with...?

i like the colors in the flower. The Jeep looks to nice to take off the road, that's why i keep a old 94 explorer around, i can take it
anywhere and not worry about it.

I'm not familiar with that one Dave... Is this something that ships with a Nikon?

Lol.. Thanks!

I think the camera does a good job of making the Jeep look a little nicer than it is... It's been a fun project.

It was an overcast day except for just a little bit of sun... A great fall day!

You always have some nice shots yourself!

I have always admired them and I recall how you were saddened when you sold one certain lens... I think you referred to it as "Bigma"..?

Seems I am seeing the "Elements" popping up in more responses... I will have to look at it harder...

I really do need to explore to find something better than what I've been using..
